Havana City Itinerary
Day 1 – HAVANA (D)
Arrival in Havana airport; clear immigration and customs; check-in at hotel.

Day 2 – HAVANA (BLD)
Breakfast
APF Travel, Inc. d/b/a GoLatin Travel (“GoLatin”) will lead an educational exchange with Cuban docents from the Museo de Bellas Artes in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, the museum’s Cuban Art as well as art in the U.S. and the idea of freedom of expression.
GoLatin will lead an educational exchange with Cuban artists at Taller de Grafica, a printmaking cooperative, in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, print-making and the role of art and artists in both the U.S. and Cuba.
Lunch
GoLatin will lead an educational exchange with Cuban instructors and students from the Children and Youth Ballet program of the independent dance company, Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba Company, in their private studio in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, dance culture and financing of dance projects in both the U.S. and Cuba.
GoLatin will organize dinner at a privately owned and operated restaurant located in the owners’ private residence.
Day 3 – HAVANA (BLD)
Breakfast.
GoLatin will lead an educational exchange with Cuban students and professors from La Escuela Taller Gaspar Melchor de Jovellanos in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, the school’s effort to preserve Cuba’s cultural and architectural heritage by training local youth in arts, crafts, and theoretical knowledge, as well as art education in the U.S.
GoLatin will lead an educational exchange over lunch with Cuban students and chefs at the Culinary School of Havana in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, the use and procurement of fresh and local foods at restaurants and the influence of international cooking methods on restaurants in both the U.S. and Cuba and whether this preserves or destroys traditional local cuisine.
Lunch
GoLatin will lead an educational exchange with the Cuban Jewish members of the congregation of a local Synagogue at the Synagogue in which the U.S. and Cuban participants will discuss, among other topics, the history of Judaism in Cuba and the history of religious freedoms in the U.S.
Dinner
Day 4 – HAVANA (B)
Breakfast
Transfer to Havana airport; return flight.
