Day 1 – USA – Mexico City
Depart USA today for Mexico City. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day to relax at leisure.
Day 2 –Guadalupe Shrine / Teotihuacan
After breakfast, visit the wondrous and holy Guadalupe Shrine to the Virgin Mary. Then onward to Teotihuacan, mysterious pyramid of the Gods. Built around 300 B.C., these ruins were built precisely to astronomical measures, yet no one knows exactly why they were built and how. After lunch, return to Mexico City. (B,L)
Day 3 – Puebla / Cholula
Today we make our visit to the towns of Puebla and Cholula. Experience the rich heritage and history of Mexico on this tour. Visit the world´s largest pyramid and learn about the 365 churches at the archaeological zone of Cholula. Continue to Puebla to the UNESCO World Heritage site and the majestic Cathedral at the Main Square. Discover the Chapel of the Rosary, the Convent of Santa Monica and the Onyx and Talavera ceramics factories. Opportunity to sample authentic Mexican “mole”, which Puebla is famous for. Return to Mexico City. (B,L)
Day 4 – Mexico City / Cancun
City tour of Mexico City this morning to see the Zocalo, the National Palace, Diego Rivera Museum, the Metropolitan Cathedral, National Museum of Anthropology and History and the Independence Angel. Afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
